I'm new to the forum. I just bought a family ticket to Pony Con last night. My two young daughters (4 and 5) love MLP and through them I have become interested in it too. Even my husband confesses he quite likes it (he has a Rainbow Dash t-shirt AND he wears it in public).
I've never done a pony convention before and I really hope there is lots for kids as well as adults. My eldest has asked to dress up so my sister is making her a Twilight outfit. My youngest already has a Sunset Shimmer one and they want me to be Apple Jack as she is my favourite. Unfortunately for Daddy, he loves Pinkie Pie. Think I may have to "man it up" a bit for him as he "categorically will not wear a skirt!"
Anyway, hello all. Anyone else from the Boston, Lincs area?

pinkkittywinks: I remember there being lots of food places near by I don't remember a carvery, but that doesn't mean there isn't one!

rhubarbpie: Hey guys xx I'll be bringing my fella again this year, he's a bit of a dinosaur and likes his Sunday roast dinners. Is there a carvery or anything in the city centre we can get a decent dinner from? We'll be staying in the Lace Market Ibis hotel.
