I love a good rummage in charity shops. I haven't found much recently, but I'm always on the look out - I found some quite grotty ponies for only 10p each last year, some I managed to clean up and trade, and some I kept for customs.
My mum found two really baity ponies at one charity shop, one of which I thought was to dirty and marked to be anything other than bait, but I chucked it in some bleach and it came out like new, I only had to find a tail for it which was easy enough. At another charity shop I was walking by and I saw a Gypsy in the window, so I ran in to buy it and I asked if they had anymore out the back, they did have five more which weren't in such good shape as Gypsy but they cleaned up well. They were all 50p each! Gypsy is actually in really good condition, I can't beleive she was only 50p!
I've found loads in charity shops in the past - too much to list right now! Yesterday, I found a 1986 annual (the one with Applejack on the cover) in much better condition than my old ones, for just 20p!
I can't resist a rummage either, but very rarely find anything. I once found a one-eyed plush bow-tie after a whole day of scouring charityshops and antiques market (this was before they brought out G3s to console myself with if I don't find anything.)
I've found tons of MLP annuals, MacDonalds ponies, one baity peachy and once, a boxed Lightheart G2 pony with canapy bed.
Lucky duck! I've only ever found 1 thing one time at a charity shop in the nine or so years I've been collecting, and it was just an old MLP puzzle. Most of the ones I've searched just have cheap junk toys
Congrats, though! It always feels great to find something
I went to one a few months back, there was a show stable with a couple of ponies in it, I asked if they had anymore out back, they said yes, but couldn't go out the back at that moment, come back later. I did, and I got about ten ponies, one of them Wigwam.
A few years ago I got a MGR pony and Blossom for 50p each, and some sylvanians for 20p each in another shop. I've found a few things over the years, but its not as good as car boots, nor in my price range really. They ask so much for crappy items nowadays.

I almost never find things in charity shops, although I did find a MLP video that I used to have when I was about 7! I bought it and my sisters watched it with me But AB is right, charity shops are getting really expensive! At least they are around me.
In one hop I found mummy berrytown, mummy medowsweet, mm windy, baby lemondrop baby count a lot and some others that I can't remember. they were all mint (needed a brush and a quick rinse first) cost? £3.50
It really made my week. I was also on the verge of giving up charity shops.

rhubarbpie: Hey guys xx I'll be bringing my fella again this year, he's a bit of a dinosaur and likes his Sunday roast dinners. Is there a carvery or anything in the city centre we can get a decent dinner from? We'll be staying in the Lace Market Ibis hotel.
