Hi all,
I have had an account on UKoE for a while and visited the ponycon pages periodically in the run up to the convention but decided after having such a wonderful time I would make an account here as well.
I would just like to reemphasize my thanks and gratitude to all of the committee members and volunteers that made my first every pony convention such an amazing experience. I had a lot of fun and found out so much about the origins of the show from the various panels, as well as talking to several vendors and con goers.
I was introduced to the show right at the start of G4 and was hooked from the get go, after season 2 my friends who introduced me stopped watching. I had no one else to talk to about the show as I was pretty shy and lacked confidence so I just stopped watching as well, this lasted almost a year until I decided to go back to what made me happy and started watching ponies again, which prompted some huge life changes. I am now happier and healthier for it, I also went looking for others with similar interests to try and get to know people and over come my shyness. I still have a way to go but I have gotten a lot better. My favorite pony has always been Fluttershy with second place being between either Rarity or AppleJack.
Me personally, I work on a computer all day with spreadsheets and databases, so lots of numbers and information. I enjoy going to the gym and being active, my favorite sport which I don't get to do to often is snowboarding. I completed a Tough Mudder as well as a similar local event called Airfield Anarchy which are 10-12 mile assault courses earlier this year and I have just secured my place in the London Marathon, which I need to start training for. I am trying to expand my creative side with digital drawing but its slow going.
Apologies for the wall of text and I look forward to getting to know everyone.
