Depression is a battle I fight every single day, & like most battles, sometimes I win, sometimes I lose, & it always helps to consult an old warrior's books!!!! I have Asperger Syndrome, so though I want to relate to others, sometimes I just find it too hard, especially when I go to my fave music parties & half the folks I like there have fallen out wi the other half & I feel caught in the middle & constantly under pressure not to say the wrong thing to the wrong person, oh & on top of that my bum misbehaves A LOT!!! So why am I here??? Well because the real world is a very stressful place for the best of us (& I'm far fae that), & the most sane of us (& I'm definitely not that either), sometimes everyone needs a placey to hide away from it. Some choose booze, others choose drugs, others commit crimes just to live in prison for a bitty. Me, however, I turn to books, DVDs & of course MLP. Btw it may seem like a contradiction when I tell you I love MLP (all generations), action adventure (including fantasy & sci-fi), & hardcore techno, but when you note the heading of this thread, it shouldn't surprise you when I announce the name of my fave author is:-

Chris Ryan. Like I said, depression IS a battle, so it helps to have an expert on that subject in my paws... (Oh, you finally say, so THAT's who the dagger's for, so why doesn't it have wings???) I couldn't find a winged one without breaching copyright, after all, it IS a trademark...
So, anybody think it's a massive contradiction to love hard music, hard books & soft snuggly cutesy rainbow-coloured Ponies??? Hopefully not...
