UK Ponycon needs YOU. Yes you!

We are looking for volunteers to help run our convention this year.
In order that our event can be as much fun as possible, we need people to help us before, during. and after. So we'd love for people to assist us with all aspects - from Friday October 21st.
All areas of expertise are useful - from simply moving equipment, heavy stuff (tables and chairs), .....to assisting with (or maybe running?) panels, helping us sell merch, assisting vendors and con attendees with enquiries, setting up and deconstructing.....there are many jobs you could help with.
What we'd like is, for anyone looking to volunteer wirh us, to send a PM to daisyd or email us at ukponycon@googlemail.com, telling her which days you are attending, and which jobs you'd prefer to do (or not do! We know not everybody likes to deal with people/do heavy jobs/be on their feet all the time). We know there is no timetable of events out right now, but if there are any events you can think of from last year that you would like to take part in THIS year, also make a note of those in the PM, and Daisy will do her best to ensure you are free of 'duties' at the time those events are running so that you can attend them
)
Set up for the con will be on Friday, most likely in the early evening (we haven't had times totally confirmed by the venue yet) and take-down will be on Sunday immediately after the con is finished. Volunteers to help at set-up will be most appreciated, as the con can't happen if stuff hasn't been organised beforehand!
Just so it's official, volunteers MUST have bought tickets to attend the con on the day(s) they wish to volunteer. But don't worry, you will have plenty of free time to have fun.....we don't use slave labour (much)......
In return for your time, volunteers will receive GIFTS of an as-yet unconfirmed nature
Mysterious!
You know we can't do it without you....please send PMs, as stated, to daisyd or email us at ukponycon@googlemail.com if you would like to lend a hoof or two (or more if you have 'em). Thanks a lot!
