BUMP IN THE NIGHT!!! The Spooky Cabin is done!!! The table is Customised from spare wood from the dollhouse kit I made the Cabin from. The treat buckets & bobbing bowl are Customised out of Apoxie. The treats & apples are dollhouse accessories. The grandfather clock, shelf & wardrobe are dollhouse furniture I repainted & in two cases added scary stickers to. Scary stickers also decorate the Cabin, while a toy ghost & a small (I think Kitty in my pocket) cat have joined all the Halloween Ponies here, as has Jet. I've even started making dress-up accessories for the Halloween Customs!!!

It's brilliant I love it!! The ponies look right at home in there. There are so many details, from the stickers on the walls and front of the house, to the creepy furniture.
I think the house needs a spooky door knocker (thought I see the ghost on the inside of the door, so when you open it, it goes BOO) and a pumpkin on the porch I wonder if you need some of that Halloween spiders web stuff? It is kind of like cotton wool, that might be cool in the corners.
I'd love some of that spider web stuff tbh!!! I think I have some plastic spiders too. I'm watching a Schleich bat on eBay as well, plus I've cut out bits for Batty Boo's bat wings. Where to find a doll-house pumpkin lantern may be the hard bit, but I was thinking a pumpkin sticker on the outside of the door for certain, as I still have some left.
I gave extra allowance in the straps & when the Ponies were wearing the capes I trimmed them to size, so that part was simple. Off of that I could start on Tricky Sweet's costume, while for his leg loops I used his actual legs as guides, allowing for the extended bit of hoof. The toughest part was stitching the velcro into place, after finding the glue didn't hold it on strongly enough. Felt is great for impromptu costumes, as it can be trimmed to size as needed & doesn't require hemming. For Little Willie Winkie's gown I made two attempts & one could do a Newborn as it was a bit too small...

That is the thing about felt, you don't have to worry about the edges and hemming. have you ever used Frey Check? It is good for small hems on doll/pony clothes. I have it in my sewing box and it is really useful.
Ah yes, glue does not hold Velcro in place, the strength of the Velcro just pulls it off where you glued it on. I had some of those "stick on" Velcro dots, they where pretty much useless! And Velcro is tough on the old fingers when it comes to sewing in in place.
