Think I could get away with doing the glitter symbols with a matte sealent, then going over them with gloss to finish? My gloss sealent *still* isn't here and I'd really like to get these customs to their commissioner!
I was in recently but when I looked they only had the sealent I used when I first started out and that never dried. There is a Games Workshop supplier in town if I get really stuck, but I can't afford to go buying anymore when I've already paid for this one.
I chased up the first lot - apparently they had 8 returned as they "weren't collected" and they gave me an immediate refund. So I bought a second lot, given they're the cheapest supplier I've found and have excellent ratings.
Apparently it was shipped on the 10th 1st class, so I would've expected it to arrive by now. If it's not here by Friday I'll be contacting them.

I use a sealant on whatever paintwork I have done, the paint can be quite easy to chip and scratch. Mind you most of my customs go to Little STP and she still plays with her ponies some of the time and hugs them as well LOL
I have a custom with the messiest hair ever! I have dropped her several times during the rehairing process (and I'm only halfway through) and getting the tangles out is going to be an absolute nightmare.
I think the best plan is to wait until the rehair is finished and then try brushing it out with conditioner in the hair. Plus if the hair is thicker it might be heavier and less static-y. I hope.
Hmm, I dont hug my ponies so I guess I can get away with not using it....
Daffy ~ you could try wrapping a few sections in clingfilm while you rehair the rest. It keeps it away and you can stick it to the next section of clingfilm as you go along. I tried that once and seemed to work.....
