MLC are respected sellers of customising supplies and are the exclusive UK supplier of Dollyhair Nylon, the same Nylon used by Hasbro for My Little Pony.

Frequently Asked Questions
1 - What Does This Mean?
As MLC are our recommended supplier of synthetic hair for customising, only MLC will be advertising and selling synthetic hair at official UK Ponycon events. We know MLC will give you quality products with friendly and professional service!
2 - I am a supplier of Synthetic Hair for customising - How will this affect me?
As MLC will be our only supplier of synthetic hair, no other Vendors will be permitted to advertise or to offer for sale, synthetic hair of any kind. You can sell any other customising supplies or equipment, just no hair of any kind.
If you have booked a stall intending to sell synthetic hair and you believe this announcement will significantly affect you - you may sell back your stall to us, and we will refund the full price of your stall ticket. If you still wish to attend without a stall, you must then purchase the appropriate attendance ticket.
3 - I am a customiser, and I have some leftover full/partial skeins of hair (whether sourced from MLC or not) that I wish to resell or trade - Can I do this?
Yes. If you are a private person selling small quantities of synthetic hair on a non-commercial basis like this it will be permitted at the discretion of UK Ponycon. UK ponycon reserves the right to refuse the sale or advertisement of hair that it reasonably believe does not fall into this exception.
4 - I am a customiser and want to sell my custom ponies which have hair that may/may not have been supplied by MLC - Can I do this?
Yes, there is no restriction on the sale of custom ponies with hair of any origin.
5 - I have collected some tails from baity ponies that I want to sell for people to use on customs or for restoration - can I do this?
Yes. There is no restriction on the sale of genuine MLP hair that has been taken from the toys themselves.
6 - Does this announcement affect advertisement and sales of synthetic hair on the 'For Sale' or 'For Trade' board on the UK Ponycon forum?
Yes. This announcement also applies to the advertisement or sale of synthetic hair via the UK Ponycon forum, however the same exceptions as outlined in FAQ 4 and 5 above will apply.
