First of all I would just like to say a big massive thank you to all the committee and anyone who helped out with everything I was made to feel very welcome at ponycon2012:-D
It was a good bit away from me coming down by road from Scotland it was like a 7hours drive down but I enjoyed it TBH our wee car had good long run there lol.. I thought that the idea of a hotel was really good as you could go up and back down from our rooms with bags and stuff like everyone else has said that was a great part of the con to have that there:)
I missed most of the mean day lol due to being hung over from the ponycon disco lol I had a ball at that I really loved it need more of them I say.. But also a pony dinner date thing for anyone who is not wanting to go to the ponycon disco as I think some people may have got left out on what was a brilliant night.. But I guess that was up to them to go to it or not but be nice to have a dinner party for them I know I would go to both of them for sure..
I was lucky enough to get the ponycon deal at the hotel so I can't really say anything bad about the food but I know a lot of people where paying a lot of money for it and waiting a very long time 2/3 hours for their dinner I thought that was wrong I mean they paid good money for everything and they where left hanging around not good:'(
I hope ponycon is in another hotel again this year but this time closer to a city center as I know a lot of people couldn't get to any shops around the hotel it was a good bit away I remember finding an asda and went their on the Friday for some stuff but as I said it was pretty far away from the hotel for people that don't drive I did offer to take people to banks and some shops and stuff but no one took me up on that aww well I guess they got there and back by the time I was ready to go lol
But yeah I think it should defo be closer to a city center for shops and buses trains and things like that!!
But apart from that guys it was brilliant I mean what was there not to love it was my first ponycon and I loved loved loved it TBH goodtimes good people
