Well... it was sunny.....
Let's see uh... I'm 30 something and originally from New York.
I used to make fun of my little sister and her collection of MLP's when they first came out (we used to call them my little boney ponies)lmao!
My daughter Caitlyn discovered her collection about 4 years ago when she was 3, and we have both been hooked on them ever since. I look out for the G3's and convention time, Caitlyn looks out for the G1's and everything else really. I think we have over 300-400 ponies. I've been taking pictures of all of them and logging them on Photobucket as we have been surprised at how valuable some of them can be.
I absolutely have to brag to people about our pony collection.. not for the individual ponies themselves, but because it is something my family enjoys doing together. Not only do I have a checklist, but my Father (in The States) has one, and now my husband, as some of you know as Jason, even looks out for them on Ebay, and when he is out shopping. I also brag about the really great people we have met and became friends with through collecting them.
Hobbies for me include, anything crafty..sewing, drawing, painting, cardmaking, jewelry making, etc. I'm really quite shy about showing anything off to people though.
I love to read.. James Patterson, John Sandford, Dan Brown etc...
and love my rock and roll/ heavy metal music.. and 80's, 70's 60's lol!!!
One of these days I would love to make some custom ponies, hoping to pick up cheaper art materials when we go home for Christmas.
I think that's about all lol! Thanks to everyone for making us feel so welcome the last 2 pony conventions! We really look forward to this year's and feel excited about the new Committee and what they will have to offer in the upcoming year!!!!!!!
