Hiya everyone!!!!
So sorry I haven't been active here lately! I've missed you all! We've been so crazy , I'm sure the same as everyone else, with preparing for Christmas. I've actually been good this year and got a lot done before the December rush, it's just bits and bobs to do now, but we've had Caitlyn's first ever birthday party to plan and set up as well! Her birthday isn't actually until Saturday, but we planned her party for this past Saturday, because it is so close to Christmas and School breaking up etc.
So update wise.... today is our 3rd wedding anniversary... I have to work, but we are going out Thursday night to celebrate (yay!). We're getting ready to spend out 1st Christmas and New Years in the uk, which is really exciting! Oh yeah..... back to the birthday party..... it was a skating party..... and guess who ended up breaking their arm? Nope, not Jay, who bravely donned a pair of roller blades for 10 mins, not the little girl I was terrified would most likely do so, as it was her first time skating (whew! did I hold on to her tight!) and not me either lmao!! Yep... Cait did it like a pro! It was her first time roller blading ( had ice skating classes when she was 2 lol) and she did really well! A few falls on her bum as you do, nothing major. Then 30 mins into her party as she was standing still and chatting with a few of her friends... down she went! OMG! It was just the most bizarre thing ever!No one thought she actually broke it from the way she fell, as she landed on her forearm and not with a bent wrist. So once all the paperwork was filled out and she had her arm with an ice pack and in a slingand some calpol, the skating session was done and we were able to get all the kids into the cafe, and Cait and I went to the A&E. Lmao!!! The calpol really worked it's magic, because she went from screaming and crying her eyes out... to having the doctor convinced she didn't break it because she was not bothered by his poking and prodding! Jay asked for an x-ray anyways.. and sure enough.. both bones were broken clean. We have to go in tomorrow to get the proper cast put on and the temporary one taken off. Looks like Jay will have a full day on the Wii Christmas day!
Boy, I've got a lot of catching up to do here... off to read up on what I missed!
Loads of love,
